Ironing service can be done by request or when we do our laundry service in order not to overload you with work when all we need from you are dirty clothes needing dry cleaning or laundering that needs folding after they come out of the washer/dryer machine so it’s easier for us to straighten up before handing them back over to you.

Ironing is the process of smoothing and flattening laundry in order to remove wrinkles, creases or crumples from natural fabric fibers (i.e., cotton) with a heated metal surface (iron). We offer ironing services for your laundry on request so you don’t have to worry about waiting days for someone else’s laundry before we do our laundry service!

Steam Cleaning

Steam cleaning involves soaking a garment in hot water and applying the steam to remove stains. Steam cleaning is usually applied on garments that are difficult to wash such as leather or suede.
Very discoloured white clothes can be treated with this laundry treatment so they brighten up and come out clean, but it is not recommended for all types of clothing: steam cleaning should only be applied on wool garments when the fabric has been softened by hand-washing, very light coloured fabrics (such as chiffon), silk and cotton materials which must be pretreated before being washed in water.

We can also take care of laundry for some delicate fabrics such as silk, velvet, leather or suede. If you have any vintage clothes that might be stained or painted we’re happy to help!
